YPL float valve is a mechanical contrivance fitted on the Inlet line to stop the flow of liquid into the tank. If the liquid Level falls in the tank the valve proportionally opens, and lets The liquid in. The inlet pipe is closed once the liquid level in The tank reaches the desired level. The flow in to the tank is Throttled gradually as the tank fills thereby preventing overflow.

WIRING DETAILS

 2 Wire Sensors : Connect Sensor supply to “24V” terminal and 4-20mA output to “SIG IN”
Terminal of indicator.
 3 Wire Sensors : Connect Sensor supply wire to “24V” terminal, 4-20mA output to “SIG IN”

Parameters Setting

 The process value is displayed under normal condition.
 Short LOCK and GND terminals by using jumper to change configuration settings.
Once the instrument has been configured, remove the shorting wire between LOCK & GND terminals. This will lock all the configuration settings. Only SET-1 and SET-2 value can still be changed.

SET LIMIT -1 : Relay 1 is heater logic means Relay-1 turned OFF for Process Value > Set limit-1. Relay-1 will turn ON Again when process value falls below( Limit-1 Hysteresis 1).
 Press SET Key. Display shows ‘SET1’ for 2 seconds & move automatically to show the value of Set
Limit-1.
 Use Increment and decrement Keys to change the Set Limit-1.
 Press Set key to save the changes and to move on next menu.
SET LIMIT -2 : Relay-2 is cooling(Alarm) logic means Relay-2 turned OFF at the Set Limit-2. Relay-2 will turn ON again When process Value rises to the (Limit2 + Hysteresis2) value.
 The display shows ‘SET2’ for 2 seconds & move automatically to show the value of Set Limit-2.
 Use Increment and Decrement keys to change the Set Limit-2.
 Press SET key to save changes and move next to return on normal display.
OFFSET SETTING: Offset represents a zero setting. Value set here acts as an addition/subtraction to the calculated value.
 Press the MODE key.
 Display shows ‘HIGH’ for 2 seconds and move automatically to show the current value.
 Use Increment and Decrement keys to change the value of Offset.
 Press SET key to save the changes and to move on next menu.
High Value Setting: HIGH represents the value to be displayed when 20mA input is given to indicator.
 The display shows ‘HIGH’ for 2 seconds and move automatically to show the value of span.
 Use Increment and Decrement keys to change the desired value.
 Press SET key to save the changes and to move on next menu.
Low Value Setting: Low represents the value to be displayed when 20mA input is given to indicator.
 The display shows ‘LOW’ for 2 seconds and moves automatically to show the value of low.
 Use Increment and Decrement keys to change the desired value.
 Press SET key to save the changes and to move on next menu.
Resolution (Decimal) Setting: Decimal represents the resolution of the process value. The same resolution will be set for Offset, High, Low, Hysteresis and Set Limit.
 The display shows ‘DEC’ for 2 seconds & move automatically to show the value of Resolution.
 Use Increment and decrement keys to set decimal position on 0000. / 000.0 / 00.00 / 0.000 .
 Press the Mode key to save the Decimal point position and to move on next menu.
Hysteresis-1 Setting: Hys1 represents the Hysteresis for Set Limit-1. Relay 1 is heater logic means Relay-1 turned OFF when The process value > Set Limit-1 and turned ON again when Process value falls below (Limit1-Hysteresis1).
 The display shows ‘HYS1’ for 2 seconds & move automatically to show the value of Hysteresis-1.
 Use Increment and Decrement keys to change the hysteresis-1 value.
 Press Mode key to save the changes and to move on next menu.
Hysteresis-2 Setting: Hys2 represents the Hysteresis for Set Limit-2. Relay -2 is cooling (or Alarm) logic means Relay-2 turned OFF At the Limit-2. Once cooler is switched OFF and process Value rises, the relay will turn ON again at ( Limit2 + Hysteresis2).
 The display shows ‘HYS2’ for 2 seconds & move automatically to show the value of Hysteresis-2.
 Use Increment and Decrement keys to change the hysteresis-2 value.
 Press Mode key to save the changes and to return on the normal display.
